1. Care este singurul păcat pe care Domnul nu-l iartă?R: Păcatul nemărturisit.
2. Cât timp trebuie să treacă între conștientizarea păcatului / mustrarea de conștiință și mărturisirea lui?R: Cât mai puțin. Imediat, chiar. Cu cât se amână mai mult, cu atât lucrurile se complică. Vezi cazul lui David.
3. Ce să fac atunci când semenul meu își cere iertare?R: O acord cu toată inima. Dacă am experimentat iertarea Domnului, atunci voi putea să acord și eu iertarea altora. Cum m-a iertat Cristos, așa iert și eu. Nici mai mult, nici mai puțin.
4. Iertarea atrage după sine uitarea?R: Nu. A-mi aminti detaliile vieții este un semn de sănătate și de normalitate. Când acord iertarea nu înseamnă că uit, ci îl absolv pe agresorul meu de vinovăție și nu-i mai reproșez niciodată eșecul lui. Istoria rămâne și va fi consemnată ca atare, dar vinovăția este anulată datorită acordării iertării.
5. Este diferență între o inimă iertătoare și acordarea iertării?R: Da, este. Inima iertătoare este o condiție pentru a fi plăcut Domnului. Acordarea iertării este condiționată de invocarea ei. Iosif a avut o inimă iertătoare, de aceea nu s-a răzbunat nicidecum. Asta nu l-a împiedicat să pună presiune pe frații lui până când aceștia și-au cerut iertare. Și atunci iertarea a fost acordată imediat, pentru că o inimă iertătoare o pregătise deja.
